• Functional Description:
  The remote control and monitoring unit (rcmu) provides communication to all ils equipment either directly or through interfacing with the phillips remote control equipment. The rcmu provides an interface to the redds system for status and control of the runway configuratio (i.E. Interlock) and individual control and status of the ils subsystems. There is one rcmu provided per interlocked runway set of ils (i.E. One rcmu controls both end of the runway) .
