• Functional Description:
  The localizer system provides all signal transmission and monitoring for the horizontal guidance component of an instrument landing system. The system includes the electronic subsystem, antenna array and environmentall controled shelter. The international standards and recommended practices for radio navigation specifies the performance of the localized function in annex 10, volume i, paragraph 2.1.3.
