Identification

An item consisting of an inductance and a resistance normally in parallel. The inductance is usually wound around the resistor. Half of the turns may be wound to inductively oppose the other half. It is designed to be inserted in the circuit of a radio frequency stage to suppress high frequency parasitic oscillations.
